I had a fabulous experience feeding the Ring-Tailed Lemurs a few years ago, at the Hamerton Zoo Park, Huntingdonshire.
Hamerton Zoo Park, located in England, is known for its wide variety of exotic animals, including big cats like tigers and jaguars, as well as primates, birds, and reptiles. It’s praised for its conservation efforts and educational programs, offering visitors a chance to learn about wildlife while enjoying the zoo’s beautiful surroundings.

Ring-tailed lemurs are charismatic primates known for their distinctive black and white ringed tails. They have expressive faces with bright golden eyes, and their fur is predominantly grey with white bellies. They’re arboreal creatures but spend a significant amount of time on the ground, moving quadrupedally. These social animals live in groups called troops, led by dominant females. They’re primarily found in Madagascar’s forests and are known for their unique vocalizations and intricate social behaviors.
