I sat at the Victoria Train Station once drinking coffee as I “people watched.” There were so many people rushing around like little ants.🙂

They work tirelessly, navigating through obstacles and challenges, always striving to achieve their goals. Like ants, rushing around is dynamic, industrious, and driven by a collective spirit of collaboration and perseverance.
“Far from the Maddening Crowd” is a novel by Thomas Hardy, which explores themes of love, independence, and rural life. In the story, the protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, seeks solitude and independence away from the pressures and expectations of society. So, “far from the madding crowds” refers to finding solace and peace away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
