The Key Theatre in Peterborough is a prominent cultural venue known for its diverse range of performances, including theatre productions, comedy shows, musicals, and live music events. Located on the embankment of the River Nene, it offers a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy entertainment. With a capacity of around 360 seats, it provides an intimate atmosphere for audiences to engage with performances. The Key Theatre also hosts community events and educational programs, making it a hub for cultural enrichment in the Peterborough area.

Going to see The Rubettes was a blast! Friend Anita and I went to watch them play at the Key Theatre, just a few years ago.

Imagine stepping into a time machine, transported back to the groovy era of glam rock. The anticipation builds as you enter the venue, surrounded by fellow fans dressed in retro attire. As the lights dim and the music starts, you’re swept away by the infectious beats and catchy melodies. It’s not just a concert; it’s a journey through nostalgia, filled with energy, excitement, and timeless tunes.

We had such a fabulous evening.

A Leo the Lion, my birth sign.

The photograph above, of the Rubbetes sitting at the table, is still missing.
