I visited an elderly relative, who resides in Bourne, this evening. I love to pop over to visit her and to say a cheery hello. The staff all seem very friendly and helpful.
I stopped at the railway crossing because the barriers were down. I was a little startled when the train sped by me as I had been in deep thought. A kindly station master came outside to open the gates and I thanked him as I drove by.
On my way home from visiting this evening, I decided to take a different route home. I ended up driving home via Woodcroft Road. 😱
I was travelling down a long, dark, lonely road, which can feel like journeying through the depths of your thoughts, where each curve holds a mystery and each shadow whispers secrets. The only companions are the hum of the engine and the rhythm of your own heartbeat, echoing in the vast expanse of solitude.
It seemed like a never-ending journey driving back on a narrow winding road. There were no other cars in sight. I will admit to feeling a little on edge, but it was all a very exhilarating experience and it got the adrenaline going. 😃
