The Haunted Doll 😱😱 I read this recently.

When considering haunted dolls, one might envision a traditional Victorian-style porcelain figure. While such items may not be commonly found in your surroundings, it’s advisable to remain cautious around children’s toys.

Notably, a Disney’s Frozen Elsa doll, gifted during Christmas 2013 in the Houston area, attracted significant media attention earlier this year due to reports of unusual phenomena associated with it.

The doll was designed to recite phrases from the movie “Frozen” and to sing “Let It Go” when a button on its necklace was activated. According to mother Emily Madonia, “For two years, it functioned solely in English. In 2015, it began alternating between Spanish and English without a dedicated button to switch languages; the changes appeared to occur randomly.” The family has had the doll for over six years and has not replaced the batteries. Mrs. Madonia noted that the doll would occasionally begin speaking and singing even when the switch was turned off.

At that time, Elsa stopped singing the English version of “Let It Go” entirely and communicated solely in Spanish when prompted. The family then double-bagged the unusual doll and disposed of it at the bottom of their trash, which was collected on garbage day. Shortly thereafter, they went on a trip; however, upon their return, they discovered that Elsa had also reappeared, waiting in the backyard of their home.

Recently, the family sent Elsa to a family friend in Minnesota, who secured the haunted doll to the front bumper of his truck. According to Madonia’s latest Facebook update in February, it has not yet returned to Houston.

In December 2019, the family made the decision to dispose of the unsettling doll. Several weeks later, they discovered it placed inside a bench in their living room. The children insisted that they had not moved it there, and their parent trusted their account, as it seemed unlikely they would have rummaged through the trash outside.

Hmmm, spooky ot what? πŸ™‚
