This scene stands among my favourites from a British film. It depicts Roberta catching sight of her father amid the steam-filled platforms, leading her to run towards him. I am particularly fond of the cape coat she dons, which resembles the Royal Air Force colours that my own father wore with great pride during his 28 years of service.
I used to have a gold cape coat, just like the one Roberta is wearing. 🙂
This was the first film I ever watched, with my father, at the cinema.

It’s such a beautiful film, “The Childrens Act.” It starred Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, and Fionn Whitehead.

Wonderful! Today I went to watch “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, a Tim Burton film. I loved the film, It was great fun to watch.🙂

A small spoiler The film told the story of three generations of the Deetz family.
After a family tragedy, they return home to Winter River, which is still haunted by Beetlejuice.
Lydia’s rebellious teenage daughter discovers a mysterious way to the afterlife. When someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times, the little demon returns and causes disruption.
The film stars the brilliant actress Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega and Arthur Conti. I loved the film 😀 I’m not usually a fan of horror films, however, I liked this film. I loved the song MacArthur Park featured in the film.
Ps If I love a film then it counts. 😉
Before watching the film today, I went for a lovely walk at Central Park Peterborough and I visited Marion at The Cedars. She needed some Bananas. 🙂

I have not been feeling very well recently, therefore I did not get around to posting these photographs, last week, of the Bourne Abbey.
These are updated posts, relating to another recent post, of other photographs of the Abbey, taken at a different time of the day.
Bourne Abbey is located in Bourne, Lincolnshire, England. It is a historical site with roots dating back to the 12th century. Originally founded as a Cistercian monastery, it played a significant role in the region’s religious and cultural life. The abbey was dissolved in the 16th century during the Reformation. Today, remnants of the structure and the surrounding gardens remain, offering insights into its historical significance. The site is often noted for its beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere, making it a point of interest for visitors and historians alike.
