Among the Lilies
I’ll lie among the lilies fair,
With petals bright and scented air,
Their silent song, a lover’s sigh,

I really love Clematis flowers. This is a photograph of one of my favourites. I grew it in a pot a few years ago.
The flowers can bloom in early spring, or summer, depending on the variety, and some even produce a delightful fragrance. Clematis plants prefer well-drained soil, plenty of sunlight, and can be pruned to encourage vigorous growth and more blooms. They are often considered a symbol of cleverness, as their twisting vines can be seen climbing with an almost clever persistence.

I can acknowledge that individuals residing in England may possess various accents. However, if English is not your primary language, one must question how you can identify as being English. How can you embrace the identity of being an #EnglishRose if the English language is not your predominant means of communication?It may be inaccurate to identify oneself as English if Italian is your primary language spoken.
In the same breath..how can you embrace the identity of being an #IndianDaisy #EuroDaffodil #BluebellBlack if you cannot speak their languages as your predominant means of communication? How can you embrace the identity of being anything other, if #English is your only language and it is your predominant means of communication?
At the end of the day, we are who we are.

My lovely lilies. I have no idea what colours they they will bloom in, however, it’s lovely to sit back and wait in anticipation. 🙂

I was a huge Princess Diana fan, for good reason. I loved this tribute song to her. We did not look alike, however, we shared a lot of things in common.
Of course, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer were married on my birthday 29th July. The day was declared a public holiday. We shared a lot in common, which included similar tastes in music, I love ballet and we shared the same name, Frances. ☺️
