Recently, I enjoyed a lovely day out at Matlock Bath. It was just before the new season began, therefore the cable cars were not working. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I took plenty of walks and I stopped off at some quaint little cafes in the area. It was nice to stroll along without a care in the world and I felt completely relaxed and happy.
I have featured some of my photographs here.

Recently, Catherine and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the Cherrytree Restaurant, Werrington.
It was the most delightful Easter Sunday meal, in the small village of Werrington.
From savoury roast beef or lamb to decadent desserts, every bite felt like a taste of tradition and warmth.
It was a great way of spending some time with my lovely daughter, sharing heartwarming conversations, and creating beautiful memories together. #ILoveYou

It has been 7 years since my dad passed away. Easter time is very significant to me as it was the weekend of dad’s funeral. I’m taking the time to remember him. He is sadly missed by me.
I loved the Mel Gibson film #ThePassionOfChrist It is one of the very first films I made my very first review about, on the internet, shortly after going to watch this film.
The film was released in 2004, around about the time I bought my very first computer. Before 2004, I was far too busy bringing up two daughters and I never had any Internet access. The computer was bought, to enable me to study. In between studying, I used to write on a forum, which enabled me to break away from all of the concentration. It was on that forum I started my internet persona #SmileyRose.
Recently we celebrated Easter and “Good Friday.” Do people know the reason why this day is a Bank Holiday? The New Testament says that Good Friday is the day when Jesus Christ was crucified by the Romans. Jewish religious leaders condemned Jesus of blasphemy for claiming to be the Son of God.
They were angered by Jesus’ acts & brought him to the Romans. Pontius Pilate, a Roman leader, who sentenced Jesus to crucifixion.
Christians from around the world use today to remember why they are Christians and to remember how Jesus died. Good Friday is the day Jesus died.
I do go around preaching about religion, however, I do believe in God.
The feelings of people who believe in God can vary widely depending on their individual beliefs, experiences, and personal circumstances. Some may feel a sense of comfort, purpose, and hope derived from their faith, while others may experience doubt, confusion, or struggle with their beliefs. Ultimately, the emotional experiences of believers are as diverse as the individuals themselves.
Once upon a sunny meadow, there lived a fluffy bunny named Cotton. Cotton adored his mum with all his heart. Every morning, he would hop over to her burrow, nuzzle her gently, and offer her the freshest daisies he could find. His eyes sparkled with love whenever he saw her, and he always stayed close by, keeping her company with his warm snuggles and soft hops. For Cotton, there was no greater joy than seeing his mum happy, and he would do anything to make her smile. 🫠
