One day, I encountered an unidentified flying object just above my home. I was with my next-door neighbour, Neil, at the time. We both saw it whilst we played together. I was about 10 years old at the time. It was so real, though.
Can you imagine going for a walk at Rutland Water and meeting a friendly Alien? 😀

Beneath a silvery sky,
He emerged from a luminous craft
That shimmered drifting by.
His eyes shone like moonlit stars,
His smile was unusual yet kind,
He communicated in melodies
Like gentle winds that winded through my mind.
He revealed to me worlds of violet seas
And trees of crystal blue,
With mountains lofty as dreams at night
And glistening morning dew.
We shared laughter among the galaxies,
We raced alongside the streaks of stars,
And drifted through the silent void
Beyond the moon and Mars.
Before departing, he waved farewell
And said, “Do not fear the unknown.
The universe is filled with friends,
And no one walks alone.”
Then he ascended into the night,
His silver spaceship gleamed—
And ever since that extraordinary day,
The stars seem close enough to dream.
I once saw a UFO when I was a young girl. I had no idea what it was doing there at that time of day. It hovered above us for quite some time, and then it disappeared Never to be seen again.
