Do you ever contemplate life after death? I know we can not all go on living forever, but as I grow older, I find myself reflecting on it more frequently. I think about times ahead and the more joyful times of the past. One thing is for sure, we are all destined to die at some stage, though the timing remains uncertain. None of us really know how much time we have left in this world. As I become older, the people I looked up to as my seniors all seem to be passing away. 😪

I took some time off work this week, and each morning, I have woken up feeling grateful to be alive to experience another new day. Our time on this earth is limited, so it is wise to make the most of each passing moment.

Presently, I am relaxed while observing the trees swaying gently in the breeze. The sky is clear blue with a few fluffy clouds. Today has seen a mixture of sunshine and rain. I do not believe I have felt this relaxed in a long time. You don’t need to travel far to feel contented and at peace with the world.

Sometimes, I wish I could share these calm and joyful moments with someone, but there are times when I am happy to just be on my own.

One thing is for certain, when we eventually leave this world, the world will continue to revolve and our children and our grandchildren will still grace this earth, perhaps with a few stories to tell about us. God bless our children.

Infinity? It is interesting to note that some religious traditions consider death as a transition to another state of existence. I find myself curious about what form that existence might take. Who knows, perhaps heaven is a place on earth. Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?🙂
