I love the letter F because it is the initial of my real first name, Frances. 🙂

Q. Would you say that you are someone who does impromptu things? Do you love to be a little spontaneous?
A. That’s a good question. I would say that I am more of a planner. I like to organise and plan in advance. I need to know what I will be doing in advance; I particularly enjoy creating itineraries when I am travelling. I also like to make checklists for trips. My daughter, Kitty, is very similar to me. We once went to Ireland together, and she prepared an itinerary that was extremely well-organised. I was very impressed with her attention to detail.

That said, I also appreciate a little spontaneity at times, such as when we both decided to see the River Dance together whilst we were in Ireland. It wasn’t something we had planned on doing beforehand, but it turned out to be the perfect choice to enjoy during our holiday together.
I also love the idea of surprise days. Everyone loves a surprise.
To answer your question, I would say that I enjoy acting spontaneously within a planned itinerary. A little of both. 🙂
Its always good to have a Plan B. 😀
Q. Are you afraid of getting older?
A. We all experience the passage of time; unfortunately, it is impossible to halt the ageing process. While we can adopt measures to maintain our well-being and potentially delay certain signs of ageing, I believe I will embrace growing older gracefully.
When I consider ageing or maturing, I am reminded of a rose that begins as a bud, gradually opening to reveal a beautiful blossom in its full splendour. Eventually, however, that rose begins to wilt, petals change colour, and it begins to fade. I perceive life similarly; we can not all live forever.
I cherish my youthful photographs as mementoes of the past, and my memories are stored safely within my mind.

I 🩷 Fuchsias. 🙂

I simply love Jamie Oliver’s style of cooking. He is one of my favourite cooks, along with James Martin.
I love photographing beach huts. I think our English seasides look so unique lined with colourful beach huts. 🙂

Below are just some of the beach huts I have photographed over the years.

Throughout my life, I have often felt the need to demonstrate my abilities and worth, especially in environments where others may underestimate or dismiss me. I am committed to maintaining my integrity and confidence, remaining true to myself despite any challenges. I will continue to be authentic and dedicated to my principles, undeterred by external pressures.
All of the crying has just made me stronger!

It was a beautiful day, walking around Norwich during the Easter break.

I stopped at this church to light a candle in memory of my father as his funeral was at Easter weekend a few years prior.

As some of you know, my father was in the British Royal Air Force. I lived in Penang, Malaysia, for almost 3 years as a child back in the 1960’s. The weather was very hot.
Here is a photograph of me as a child, sporting a very good suntan. I attended the Minden Barracks Primary School. I was a very angelic child. 🙂

The photograph below is a picture of me in Malaysia (left) with my best friend at the time, Lesley Turner (right). Lesley’s father was in the Royal Air Force, too. Her mum Aunty Anne was lovely. She had an identical twin sister. Lol, i can remember the funny trick she played on me when we lived in Salisbury, Wiltshire. I went to call for Lesley, on my way to school, and she sent her twin sister to greet me. I was chatting to Aunty Anne as usual, then she appeared in the kitchen, and I thought I was seeing double! It was quite funny as I had no idea she had a twin! 🙂

The green and white checked dress I am wearing was our school uniform, and Lesley and I swapped footwear. I am wearing her flip-flops, and she is wearing my slip-on shoes. 😂
