Q. Would you say that you are someone who does impromptu things? Do you love to be a little  spontaneous?

A. That’s a good question. I would say that I am more of a planner. I like to organise and plan in advance. I need to know what I will be doing in advance; I particularly enjoy creating itineraries when I am travelling. I also like to make checklists for trips. My daughter, Kitty, is very similar to me. We once went to Ireland together, and she prepared an itinerary that was extremely well-organised. I was very impressed with her attention to detail.

That said, I also appreciate a little spontaneity at times, such as when we both decided to see the River Dance together whilst we were in Ireland. It wasn’t something we had planned on doing beforehand, but it turned out to be the perfect choice to enjoy during our holiday together.

I also love the idea of surprise days. Everyone loves a surprise.

To answer your question, I would say that I enjoy acting spontaneously within a planned itinerary. A little of both. 🙂
