I grew up during a time when England was at its peak. While there has always been immigration to this country, it was managed in a manner that did not overwhelm our public services, such as the NHS. It was an era where travelling from point A to point B was quite straightforward, with minimal traffic on the roads. Reflecting on those times, I find it challenging to recognize the current state of the country.

I have only ever lived in England, which is why my accent reflects that background. It would be inaccurate for anyone to suggest that I have a European or Asian accent, as I have not had the opportunity to experience living in those regions.

How would I pick up a black or Asian accent if I have lived in England ever since I was a baby?
I have only ever attended British schools, and all of my school friends, as a child, were all White British.
Individuals who have been raised in a different country typically speak the language of that country and may possess a regional accent linked to their place of upbringing.
The English language is my primary language.

Being born in another country does not necessarily imply proficiency in any languages other than English.
I have a British English background.
Why is there a comparison between ady and I? I speak English with an old English accent, bordering on received pronunciation (RP), while she has an Italian accent. Our speech patterns are different.
I do not have an Italian background.
I have lived in England since I was five months old, and my primary language is English.
My name is Frances Rose Agnes Napper

This evening, I had the pleasure of dining at the George Hotel, where I captured some vibrant photographs. The staff ware exceptionally welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I have visited The George Hotel on numerous occasions, including a memorable celebration for a family member’s 90th birthday, which feels like a lifetime ago.
I arrived at the George Hotel fairly early. Therefore, there were not many people dining at that time. It started to get busy as I was leaving. I didn’t mind as I did not really want to stare at all of those “lovey dovey” couples. Lol, it is not my thing. 🙂 The meal was very nice though. 🙂
Ps Thank you for my lovely Pink Rose on this Valentine Day. It was very thoughtful.
