I’m listening to “City Of Stars”, which is from the film “LaLa Land.” I loved the film. I can remember watching the film 9 years ago, the same year my father passed away. The film starred Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

I loved this film. π It starred Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral
It is interesting to observe that during your early years, up until the age of 50, life is often characterised by a series of weddings. However, when someone close to you passes away, it can lead to a significant shift in one’s perspective and experience of life.
I have been to at least 6 funerals in the past few years. πͺ

I want a man to look me in the eye and then lovingly tell me, “You complete me.”
Then I want to say , “You had me at hello.” π
It’s a great script. This was just so romantic.

The Chronicles Of Narnia – The Magicians Nephew – this 2005 film is a prequel to The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, later written by C S Lewis. This was my favourite childhood book.

I went to the cinema to watch this film when it was first released in 2013 and I loved the film. It stars Jennifer Lawrence. π

I have enjoyed a delightful day with my daughter Lolly, who is visiting England from Australia. We shared a very pleasant lunch together and later attended the cinema to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash. It is, to date, my favourite Avatar film.

Thank you, James Cameron, for creating such an impressive film; it has certainly become my favourite film of the year. The film was highly entertaining, packed with action from beginning to end, and the special effects were nothing short of brilliant. #Fantastic π

Today, I went to see two films at the Odean Cinema in town. I love the “Pirates Of The Carrabean” films. Lol, the thought of my great grandfather came to my mind. He was a tall blonde gentleman who reminded me of a pirate when I looked at some of his photographs.

Re my #shipwreck photograph. I enjoyed a lovely holiday inΒ #Zante a few years ago. To reach Shipwreck Beach (Navagio Beach), I took a boat tour from Zakynthos Town.

Downton Abbey This evening, I attended the Showcase Cinema to watch: Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. I have been an avid follower of the franchise, and I can say that this final episode did not disappoint.
It was wonderful to see the original cast members from the first two films.
My favorite character in the film is Lady Mary. I found it interesting to observe how divorce was quite frowned upon during the 1930s.
The film starred Michelle Dockery and Hugh Bonneville. It was great to see the tribute paid to the late Maggie Smith, who was a remarkable actress. RIP Dame Maggie Smith.
I am feeling quite emotional now re it being the final episode. I felt the same when the TV series “Upstairs, Downstairs” ended.
I highly recommend you watch the film.
Ps There was one part right at the end of the film that I did not quite understand when the name Sybil was mentioned. I was a little lost. π
