This evening, I attended a screening at the Showcase Cinema, of “Jurassic World Rebirth,” which starred Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey. It is a film I have greatly been looking forward to watching. The film was exceptional from beginning to end. I particularly enjoy films that feature engaging action, compelling drama, and impressive special effects, and this film delivered on all those fronts.
I did not realize until the very end that the film was directed by Mr Steven Spielberg, who just so happens to be one of my favourite filmmakers. I have appreciated his work over the years and was fully captivated throughout the viewing of this film tonight. It was excellent, excellent, and excellent!:)

I have photographed the huge dinosaur at the History Museum and at the Peterborough Cathedral over the past few years. Therefore, I was very happy to go and watch this film tonight.

Thank you, Mr Spielberg, for not failing to entertain me with your films over the years. π
I was also thrilled to bits to hear that John Williams arranged the musical score. He’s superb. π

For those who know me well, they are aware that I enjoy watching romantic comedy films from time to time. I had not seen a good romcom in quite some time, so I was pleasantly surprised when I watched “Materialists” this evening, as this romcom met my expectations. π

I am pleased to give it a positive review, as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal delivered compelling performances that kept my attention throughout.
I particularly appreciated the filmβs underlying message about the potential risks associated with using dating agencies, especially since I grew up in an era when such agencies did not exist. While these agencies have helped many people find their life partners, it is important to also consider the potential dangers involved.
Overall, it was an excellent film. π
You don’t always have to love the richest man on the planet, not if you are not in love with him. ο
Love is not about money, it’s about finding someone who completes you. β€οΈ

I very recently went to watch the #DisneyFilm #FreakierFriday, which starred Jamie Lee Curtis. Lol It was a very “girly” lightearted film. I can remember watching the very first #FreakyFriday film, which starred Jodie Foster. I loved that film too. π
Ps I loved sitting in a reclining chair at the Odeon, with my popcorn. βΊοΈ

I also went to watch Superman last week, which starred David Correnswet. I loved that it showed a sweeter side to Superman, particularlyΒ when he saved a small animal from deaths harm. #SoLovelyToSee.Β I really enjoyed the film, although I did miss Henry Cavill. However, personally speaking, I think Henry would make a brilliant James Bond.Β π

Q. What sort of films do you enjoy watching SmileyRose?
A. That’s easy to answer. I love comedy. Sci-fI, thrillers, westerns, war, action, supernatural, police, law, musical, magical, and if you combine any of those genres with a little romance and a Rose like female, I β€οΈ.
Let me elaborate a little more. There doesn’t have to be bedroom scenes. There doesn’t have to be kissing. Sometimes, just “a look” can say it all. Or I love romantic gestures and quotes in films. I simply love romance. π
The genre I am least likely to enjoy is horror or films that are too sexually explicit. I like Rose like female characters. Films filled with swearing, unless a little funny or to show frustration in anger. I can cope with a little.
Most of all, I love children’s films. I adore Disney. That’s me in a nutshell. π
I have been a fan of Paddington Bear ever since I was a little girl. I loved the film.

It is true to say that I shall miss Ethan Hunt…after all of these years (29 Years to be precise). πͺ
I went to watch the “The Final Reckoning” – Mission Impossible film this evening at the Showcase Cinema. I won’t be a spoiler, however I loved the film. There were occasions when I could feel myself gripping the edge of my seat.
A #MustWatch film.
How will we all survive without Ethan?
This has been my ring tone for so many years.

This evening, I attended a showing of “Snow White” at the Showcase Cinema. While I am too young to have watched the original animated Disney film at the cinema, when it was first released in 1938, I have seen it on dvd several times since then. Interestingly, one of my first dates with my ex-husband was to watch “Snow White” at the cinema. π€£
The film featured several notable characters, including Bashful, Dopey, Doc, Sneezy, Happy, and Grumpy.
The film starred Rachel Zegler as Snow White, Andrew Burnap as Jonathon, and Gal Gadot as the Evil Witch.
I thoroughly enjoyed the film, as I felt a strong connection to Snow White. Its release coincided perfectly with Mother’s Day. I embrace the notion of being more like Snow White than the Wicked Witch. π
Overall, I found the film to be highly enjoyable and well worth a watch for both adults and children.
I loved the film π
