Friend Debbie and I went for a walk around Stilton this evening. I took some great photos a few years ago when I went to the Stilton Cheese Rolling Festival. I can remember taking some great photographs at the event.
This year’s Stilton Cheese Rolling event takes place this weekend on Sunday 26th May 20254.
Whilst walking I came across this lovely display of roses.

My holiday in Bude, a charming coastal town in North Cornwall, UK, offered a delightful mix of natural beauty, outdoor activities, and relaxed seaside charm.
Bude boasts some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Summerleaze Beach, with its iconic sea pool, is perfect for swimming and family activities. Crooklets Beach, known for its excellent surfing conditions, attracts surf enthusiasts of all levels.
Events and Festivals Throughout the year, Bude hosts various events and festivals, such as the Bude Jazz Festival and the Bude Carnival, which add a lively dimension to your visit. These events celebrate local culture and attract visitors from all over.
I decided to jump in the car and off I went, to enjoy a week in Bude, on my own. I met up with an old school friend Barbara and her partner, whilst I was on holiday. We all met up for a couple of days during my holiday.
Overall, my holiday in Bude combined relaxation and adventure.

I am a female who speaks the English language only, as her mother tongue. Sorry, I cannot speak or understand any other languages.
I do not speak any other languages because in my era there was no great importance placed on learning another language. My family, including my parents, just soke the English language.
I am well-traveled and I have loved learning about different cultures over a long period. I have been travelling since a baby. I also travelled with my Father. He was a member of the British Royal Air Force.
I am from a Christian only background.
I have grown up in England, ever since a baby.

Seriously though, it is good to have a will in place. If you do not have one, then at least think about making one.
You sometimes take for granted that you are fit and well, but we don’t live forever.
