I loved the film and the songs in this musical, so much. My daughter Catherine and I also went to see the stage musical at the West End a few years ago. We both enjoyed the show immensely.

“Chicago” is a renowned Broadway musical set in the 1920s, depicting the glamorous and gritty world of jazz, crime, and celebrity. It follows the story of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two murderesses competing for fame and acquittal, all while navigating the sensationalist media and corrupt justice system. With catchy tunes, intricate choreography, and a darkly comedic tone, “Chicago” explores themes of manipulation, celebrity culture, and the pursuit of the American Dream.

The film starred Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta Jones and Rene Zelleweger. 🙂

London 2023 – A Visit to the M&M Store

Last year, I spent a weekend in London and I stayed in a little hotel just across the road from the M&M store.

The M&M’s shop is typically a colourful and vibrant store dedicated to the iconic sweet brand. It often features walls lined with tubes filled with various colours and flavours of M&M’s, allowing customers to mix and match their favourite combinations. You’ll find merchandise like branded apparel, accessories, and novelty items, all adorned with the M&M’s characters. The overall atmosphere is fun and inviting, appealing to both kids and adults alike.

Gravel Pit Brasserie & Bar

Kitty, my daughter and I, met for lunch today at the Gravel Pit Brasserie, Wyboston Lakes.

Wyboston Lakes is a conference, training, and leisure venue located in Bedfordshire, England. It’s set amidst 350 acres of countryside and offers facilities for events, accommodation, dining, golf, and water sports. The site includes a hotel, spa, and various meeting rooms suitable for corporate events and conferences. It was very nice. 🙂
