  • A Favourite. Beautiful! One of my favourite pieces is Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor by Ludwig van Beethoven Opus 13 (2).

  • A few months ago, I was with a friend Deb. We were walking at Burghley when we stopped off to watch the show jumping. It was such a lovely day. I took so many lovely photographs. We stopped off for a pot of tea at the Orangery.

Watching showjumping is like witnessing a thrilling dance between horse and rider. The elegance of the horses, the precision of the jumps, and the anticipation of each obstacle create an electrifying atmosphere. Every jump is a moment of suspense, and the connection between the rider and their horse is truly mesmerizing to behold.

I hope you enjoy looking at my lovely photographs.

  • I love ballet. ❤️ I wanted to be a ballet dancer when I was a young girl. Ballet is so beautifully elegant to watch. When my daughters were both young, they used to attend ballet lessons. I would often watch some of their performances.

“Swan Lake” is a ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. It’s a tale of love, betrayal, and magic centred around Prince Siegfried and Odette, a princess cursed to transform into a swan by day. The iconic imagery of swans gliding gracefully across a lake, coupled with Tchaikovsky’s mesmerizing score, makes it a timeless masterpiece in the world of classical ballet.
