  • As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am a bit of a foodie. I love eating a nice slice of pork pie and a glass of port, mostly on Christmas Eve, depending on where I am at the time. It is my guilty pleasure.

The below photographs were taken a few years ago. The pie was very delicious, however there was no port because I was feeling quite poorly that year.  🙂

I love my “Oxo” picture because  Oxo means “Hugs and Kisses.” 😉

  • The quality of these photographs are not as good as the originals. The originals were much sharper.

These photos went missing for a time and now they are back in my Google photos. It is pretty bad.

My daughter Lolly, lovingly baked these, when she was still just a teenager. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon and I have photos of Lolly, looking like a typical teenager, very sweet and very pretty.

I can remember the sun shining through the conservatory on that day, making her hair shine softly, in the warm sunlight.  I will hasten to add that the gingerbread men were a welcomed after-dinner treat on that evening. I ❤️  Smarty people. 🙂

Whoever had these photos…..they were my memories, captured with my camera!

  • About 400 migrants are believed to have arrived in the UK recently and on the day, five people, including a child, died while trying to cross the Channel.

The crossings took place as the tragedy off the coast of northern France, just hours after Parliament passed new legislation aimed at getting the Government’s plan to give asylum seekers a one-way ticket to Rwanda.

  • Four people injured after army horses bolt through central London. https://f7td5.app.goo.gl/XUYxdG Sent via @updayUK

I hope all is OK and there were no serious injuries to the horses or people. I wonder what prompted this to occur.

Ps I have just heard, everyone is going to make a full recovery, including those lovely horses. 😍

  • In 2016, I attended this TVR car show at Burghly, just outside of Stamford. I went with an old friend, who has sadly passed away since. We used to meet up for lunch quite often, however, on this occasion, we decided to spend a few hours at the car show. RIP Karen.

Going to a car show is like stepping into a playground for car enthusiasts. There’s a buzz in the air as you wander through rows of sleek, shiny vehicles, each one a masterpiece of design and engineering. The smell of polished chrome and wax fills your nostrils as you admire vintage classics, modern marvels, and concept cars that seem to be from the future. It’s a visual feast, with every corner offering something new to marvel at, whether it’s the roar of a muscle car’s engine or the elegance of a TVR. And the best part? You’re surrounded by enthusiasts. I love the atmosphere.

That is me standing in the background. I asked Karen to take my photograph, with my camera. I often ask people to take my photograph, if I am attending an event.
