Q. Hi SmileyRose are you on Facebook? If so, what do you like about it? Is Facebook as fun as it used to be?
A. Hi to you. This is an interesting question because I have been on Facebook for several years. I was very reluctant to want to join the social media site, mainly because there were things about it that used to bug me.
I really did enjoy using the site to begin with. I loved the two column posts, as it was fun to use back then, but someone changed it. It was after this change when I decided it was not fun anymore.
Basically, I loved displaying my photos in a fun manner and you could not do this anymore once this was changed ie adding a song beside my photos or a funny video etc. It looked better presented.
Very soon after the changes I started to notice odd things occurring. I had the feeling that my photos etc were not being viewed by just friends. Then I started to notice albums going missing. Two of the first albums to disappear were my Cyprus and Rome photos (whole albums!).
I eventually noticed that my Google account also had missing photographs. All of the photos I spent hours editing began to disappear. I then noticed that the setting on Facebook changed because people were not leaving their Facebook accounts open to all of their Facebook friends to view? Why were they friends on Facebook if they felt they had to hide the contents/their photos, etc.
I then noticed more of my photos went missing. Eventually, someone hacked my whole Facebook account, including all of my posts and Facebook photographs. It was during the time I was grieving my Father. I have never seen that Facebook account again and eventually I opened another Facebook account.
I have never hidden my photographs from those I added as a friend on Facebook.
Since then, someone was regularly going to my Google account and that person was removing all of my hard work. My lovely photographs. I have no idea why someone would behave in such a bad way.
I feel like someone has invaded my privacy and they have removed photos which belonged to me. It has all been very upsetting.
There you have it. I consider my passwords to be difficult for someone to guess. So how?
I must admit to feeling so ill about it all. The thought of someone going into my private photos has made me feel so ill. There were photographs of my children on there. Nobody wants anyone to have access to their family member like that.
The thought of people using my photos for their websites has made me feel ill too. Absolutely nobody has my permission to use any of my photos.

Q. Do you have all of your friends from your hacked Facebook account on your new Facebook account?
A. Some, but not all. They have all gone under the radar so to speak. So strange.
Q. What sort of accent do you have SmileyRose?
A. Well I can only speak English, therefore It is likely to be an English accent because I cannot speak another language and I have only grown up in England.
My family’s language is English.
I have never really needed to learn another language. I suppose if I was living in another country permanently, then I would have a good reason to want to learn another language but that has never been my intention.
Q. What’s your early memory of a film SmileyRose?
A. I was still pre-school and I went to see the Disney film Cinderella and The Sound Of Music with my Mum. I have been a fan of Julie Andrew ever since. 🙂
