  • I am one of those people who believes in treating herself to some good food from time to time. I love to see nicely presented food on the table, especially when it tastes yummy.

Eating good food is like taking your taste buds on a delightful journey, with each bite offering a symphony of flavours, textures, and aromas that tantalize the senses. It’s about savouring every mouthful, feeling the satisfaction spread through your body, and experiencing moments of pure culinary bliss.

Thank you to the Bull Hotel last year. 🙂

    Very tasty
  • Watching a helicopter land can be quite mesmerizing, especially seeing it gracefully touch down and the rotor blades slowly come to a stop. It’s a testament to human engineering and skill.

  • The Welney Wetland Centre is a nature reserve and visitor attraction located in Welney, Cambridgeshire, England. Managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), it comprises a vast area of wetlands, meadows, and marshes. The center is renowned for its diverse birdlife, especially during the winter months when thousands of migratory birds, including swans, ducks, and geese, gather there.

The Welney Wetland Centre offers visitors the opportunity to observe and learn about wetland habitats and the birds that depend on them. There are bird hides, walking trails, and observation points strategically located throughout the reserve, providing excellent views of the wildlife. The center also hosts various events, guided walks, and educational programs to engage visitors of all ages.

In addition to birdwatching, the Welney Wetland Centre plays a vital role in conservation efforts, habitat restoration, and scientific research aimed at protecting wetland ecosystems and the species that inhabit them.

  • One of my favourite “Disney” films is The Little Mermaid. I have sung “Part Of Your World” on a few occasions, on the Karaoke site Smule.

“The Little Mermaid” is a fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. It was first published in 1837. The story follows the journey of a young mermaid princess named Ariel who dreams of living on land and falls in love with a human prince. She makes a deal with a sea witch to exchange her voice for legs, but things don’t go as planned. The tale explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the consequences of choices. It has been adapted into various forms of media, including animated films, stage productions, and books.

Me singing the song a few years ago, as a duet.
