I was very pleased with my Clematis. This beautiful clematis always helps to brighten up any garden. Clematis plants come in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes, with some species producing single flowers and others producing clusters.
They are popular in gardens and landscaping for their versatility and ability to climb trellises, fences, and arbours.
I loved the Mel Gibson film #ThePassionOfChrist It is one of the very first films I made my very first review about, on the internet, shortly after going to watch this film.
The film was released in 2004, around about the time I bought my very first computer. Before 2004, I was far too busy bringing up two daughters and I never had any Internet access. The computer was bought, to enable me to study. In between studying, I used to write on a forum, which enabled me to break away from all of the concentration. It was on that forum I started my internet persona #SmileyRose.
Recently we celebrated Easter and “Good Friday.” Do people know the reason why this day is a Bank Holiday? The New Testament says that Good Friday is the day when Jesus Christ was crucified by the Romans. Jewish religious leaders condemned Jesus of blasphemy for claiming to be the Son of God.
They were angered by Jesus’ acts & brought him to the Romans. Pontius Pilate, a Roman leader, who sentenced Jesus to crucifixion.
Christians from around the world use today to remember why they are Christians and to remember how Jesus died. Good Friday is the day Jesus died.
I do go around preaching about religion, however, I do believe in God.
The feelings of people who believe in God can vary widely depending on their individual beliefs, experiences, and personal circumstances. Some may feel a sense of comfort, purpose, and hope derived from their faith, while others may experience doubt, confusion, or struggle with their beliefs. Ultimately, the emotional experiences of believers are as diverse as the individuals themselves.
Recently, I enjoyed a lovely day out at Matlock Bath. It was just before the new season began, therefore the cable cars were not working. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I took plenty of walks and I stopped off at some quaint little cafes in the area. It was nice to stroll along without a care in the world and I felt completely relaxed and happy.
I have featured some of my photographs here.

Creating memories, that sparkle like diamonds, every moment I spend with either of my daughters. Those moments are to be cherished. These are my keepsakes.
Catherine and I enjoyed a day at the Sawtry Tea Rooms. We had afternoon tea and we painted pottery together. It was all very relaxed and therapeutic. A good day was had by both.
On that day, I felt like a young mother again. It reminded me of our Mother’s and Toddlers Group Sessions when we sat with our children and we created arty things together. Where has the time gone? Cherish your times with your young toddlers, because before you know it, they become adults!
Thank you, Catherine, for our lovely day together, and thank you to the lovely ladies at the tearoom for making our day special.
Below are a few photographs of our day together.
Please note that I have not posted any photographs of my daughter, because I respect the fact that she does not like her photos being displayed on the internet.

I had a lovely Easter weekend visiting Shepreth Wildlife Park, Nr Cambridge. It began with a walk immersing myself in the wonders of the animal kingdom.
As I wandered through diverse habitats, I encountered all types of creatures. From majestic Tigers basking in the sun to playful monkeys swinging from branch to branch, every step unveils a new adventure.
The air was filled with the sounds of exotic birds and the chatter of excited visitors, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Along the way, informative signs and dedicated park keepers provide insights into conservation efforts and animal behaviours, deepening your understanding and appreciation for the natural world.
My walk at the zoo was a journey of discovery which brought great delight.

At the entrance of the Wildlife Park stood this land-rover, at the top of a hill. π
Alpacas can be quite delightful! They’re adorable creatures with their fluffy coats and curious personalities. Interacting with them can be calming and enjoyable, especially if you’re in a peaceful setting like a farm or countryside. Plus, they’re known to be gentle and friendly animals, so it’s usually a positive experience.
Alpaca feeding time can be quite an experience! Alpacas typically graze on grass or hay, so feeding them involves providing ample amounts of these. They are usually fed twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. Alpacas are gentle and docile animals, so feeding time can be peaceful and enjoyable. They often eat in a group, nibbling on their food leisurely. ππ
I like this actor, Johnny Depp….and there he was at Shepreth. πSeeing a crocodile in the wild can be quite thrilling and sometimes intimidating. Their formidable size and prehistoric appearance can evoke a sense of awe and respect for the power of nature. However, it’s important to maintain a safe distance and observe them from afar, as crocodiles are wild animals and can be dangerous if provoked or approached too closely. It was good to see the Donkey’s again. πThis was just lovely. This is me, as a blonde
