  • To My Precious Child on Mother’s Day & Missing My Daughter

    Mar 30th, 2025

    Daughter 1

My sweet child, my heart’s delight,
You fill my world with love and light.
From tiny hands to growing feet,
Every moment with you is sweet.

Your laughter rings like a melody bright,
Guiding my soul, my joy, my light.
Through every hug, through every tear,
You make each day more warm, more dear.

I cherish the whispers, the giggles, the fun,
The bedtime stories when the day is done.
You’ve given me purpose, a love so true,
On Mother’s Day, I celebrate you!

For being my reason, my dream come alive,
The love in my heart will always survive.
No matter how big, no matter how tall,
You’ll always be my baby, my love, my all.

    Missing My Daughter

    Daughter 2

I miss you more than words can say,
Each moment feels so far away.
The laughter shared, the love we knew,
Still lingers here in shades of you.

I close my eyes and see your face,
Your light, your warmth, your sweet embrace.
The way you’d smile, the way you’d shine,
A love so deep, forever mine.

The days go on, but not the same,
The world keeps turning, calls your name.
Yet though we’re far, my heart holds true,
No space can steal my love for you.

So when you feel alone, my dear,
Just close your eyes and feel me near.
For near or far, no matter where,
A mother’s love is always there.

  • Beyond The Blue

    Mar 30th, 2025

Beyond the clouds, beyond the sky,
A silent world where stars drift by.
    Engines roar, a fiery flight,
    Piercing through the endless night.

    Weightless wonders, floating free,
    A dance among infinity.
    Planets glow in distant light,
    Moons reflect a silver white.

No air to breathe, no ground to tread,
A universe where time is spread.
Yet from this vast and starry deep,
Our home still calls, our dreams to keep.

For space may call with whispers bright,
But Earth is where our hearts ignite.

  • Mothers Day  Weekend (Saturday)

    Mar 30th, 2025
    Willow Grange

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day with my daughter, Catherine, yesterday. It was such a beautiful day. We visited a farm “The Willow Grange,” just outside of Cambridge, where a lady by the name of Charlotte led a candle decoration workshop. Together, Catherine and I decorated four candles each, which I found to be quite therapeutic. The atmosphere was enhanced by calming music in the background. We enjoyed Prosecco and pink lemonade, along with a sweet treat, while engaging in pleasant conversation with another mother and her daughter Lauren, who sat across from us. It reminded me of my own mother and daughter, who sadly could not be with us.

It was truly a delightful afternoon. Later, Catherine and I explored the farm shop before returning to St. Ives for dinner. We ate at the Ivo Lounge.

Thank you for my wonderful gifts.

Today, I plan a lovely day in the garden with some of my lovely treats. 😉

Thank you for the lovely messages from my daughters this morning. I love you both. 💕💞
