We had a lovely ‘family day’ at Springfields, just a couple of years ago. My brother’s gf Fiona treated us to scones, on this occasion It was lovely to stop off for some scones. I tend to go fairly often.

A Sunflower is a vibrant and tall plant with a large, circular head filled with tiny florets that resemble the sun’s rays. Its stem is sturdy, often reaching impressive heights, and its leaves are broad and green.
My daughters bought me these lovely sunflowers for my birthday, a couple of years ago. Aren’t they just beautiful?

I stopped off to stretch my legs. I was on my way to Blakeney Point.
Langham Dome.
It was built in 1942 – 43 on the edge of RAF Langham. This intriguing building utilised innovative technology to train anti-aircraft gunners. This lovingly restored military museum was one of the first examples of virtual technology.

It was such a lovely day I love it when the skies are blue and their are blue fluffy clouds floating by.
I’m listening to “Build Me Up Buttercup” by The Foundations
I’m listening to this Van Morrison song.

The last time I visited Holt, was when I was a teenager. I loved the town, even all of those years ago. I was more than happy to spend a couple of days here, once again. It is a ‘Happy Place.’
It is nice to spend some time on your own, visiting all of the places you love. I stayed at the Byfords, in the centre of Holt. It is a quaint little English B&B. I had dinner here last night and a fabulous breakfast this morning. The bed is exceptionally comfortable here.😋
I feel as if I am from the Victorian era. I am sitting at a quaint little desk, which overlooks the High Street. The ceilings here are lovely. They are beamed. It was so lovely to wake up to them this morning.

I was awoken this morning, by the sounds of military aircraft. It brought back my childhood days. My father was in the British Royal Air Force and they are the sounds that I am all too familiar with. I can remember the low-flying tornados practising in the area where I grew up, Stamford.

I am #English however I also have a colourful background. I love anything to do with #England because I have only grown up in England. I love #Quality ie doing things at a much slower pace and providing quality rather than quantity. I see that here at Holt! This is the kind of life I grew up with. I was never rushed and I did things in my own sweet time 😉
I was never a city slicker, but more of a country bumpkin. I have mostly only ever lived in the country and not in the hustle and bustle of city life. I grew up with the lovely folk at a much slower pace. Where people took time to say “Hello” to you. I am at my happiest at such places.
Holt is a charming market town in Norfolk, England, known for its picturesque streets, independent shops, and historic buildings. The town has a rich heritage and offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular destination for tourists seeking a quintessential English experience.
In a small rural seaside town, time seems to stretch out like the coastline. Mornings are greeted by the gentle lull of waves, and the day unfolds with unhurried simplicity. Locals amble through streets, exchanging leisurely greetings, while the rhythm of life mirrors the ebb and flow of the tide. Time here is measured not in minutes but in moments, each one savoured against the backdrop of a serene seascape.
I have brought my main camera along with me, therefore there has been some serious photography. These photos are taken with my mobile camera.

Music by Johann Pachelbel. Another Favourite piece.
A Favourite. Beautiful! One of my favourite pieces is Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor by Ludwig van Beethoven Opus 13 (2).
