I want to see you be happy every single day of your life, and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure you always have a reason to smile.”

β€œI love you more than I ever thought was physically possible.Β You’re a ray of sunshine in my life, warming me up from the inside out even on the darkest of days.”

I loved singing this song, from the film “IF” πŸ™‚

Aww “Blue” was a sweet character in the film “IF.” πŸ˜€

I have always loved the band “Blue.” In fact, my daughter Catherine and I went to watch them perform at the Peterborough Embankment, several years ago. I’m wondering where those photographs went.

  • “IF” – Everyone Should Have An Imaginary Friend πŸ™‚

    May 26th, 2024

What a wonderful and colourful film. I am so glad I went to the cinema, to watch the film “IF” this evening. The film was about a young girl and her “Imaginary Friends,” in fact, everyone should have an imaginary friend.πŸ™‚

I can remember having an imaginary friend. My daughter’s imaginary friend was called Nala, from The Lion King.😁

Without being a spoiler, this was a wonderful family comedy, however, there was a sad part in the film that made me wipe a few tears away.Β  Β

A “Must Watch” film. The kids with love it.

The film stars Cailey Flemming as Bea and Ryan Reynolds as Cal.

I am wondering who my IF is. πŸ™‚

  • Sunday Morning

    May 26th, 2024

……Reading a magazine whilst having a foot soak. This is lovely and relaxing. A little pampering is good for you. πŸ™‚

Lol I am one of those people who just has to look at the sun and I start to suntan. Laughing at my feet though. The other day, during the hot weekend, I was out in the garden, and only half of my foot, managed to catch the sun.

Now I have a two-tone foot. Half of it looks brown and the other half looks a bit wishy-washy, almost white.

    So glad it wasn’t my face!Β  🀣🀣

    I love RomComs

I sat down to watch this Netflix film this afternoon. It was a lighthearted romantic comedy film, which was quite entertaining. My favourite part was when they all jumped into the pool at the end. Lol it reminded me of a family holiday in Mallorca.

  • We Need A Fairer System

    May 25th, 2024

A fairer system re the taxes we pay. I completely agree with it. #QuestionTime

Why is it that the rich keep getting richer and the ordinary people who work hard for a living, struggle to make ends meet, even though they work hard?

How is it that unemployed people, can afford to run a car? I was not able to afford to run a car when I did not have a job.

It seems to me that it is the ordinary folk who work hard for a living, are the people who get stung for higher taxes etc. We need a much fairer system then we have presently!

I have always driven an oldish vehicle until It becomes too expensive for me to repair it and then I exchange it for another old vehicle. I have never driven a new car. It cost me Β£700 to put my car through its last MOT, last year!

When you look around you and you can see people who do not go to work for a living, being able to afford better vehicles than you, yes it does make you feel lousy and tired because you can’t afford to do the same, even though you go out to work all day.

I have worked hard for a living, for much of my working life. I gave up full-time work briefly, when I was married, to care for our children. My ex-husband was a shift worker. I then went back to work full-time, however, we were in the process of divorcing at that time (18 years ago). We hit hard times financially because Police families struggled. It is not easy raising a young family when you have a husband who is a shift worker. It made it awkward for me to find a job that fitted in with our family life, at that time.

Of course, I feel envious when I see ordinary people who do not work for a living, those who can work, who claim benefits and sing on smule/play on the internet all day, but who will not go to work for a living, as I have to,  being able to afford better cars etc, than I have!

I have never claimed any unemployment benefits. I started my working life at the age of 16 years old. I did any reputable job, just to get into a full-time job.

I am for the ordinary folk who work hard for a living!
