I had a very lovely walk around Ketton today. It is such a pretty village.
I stopped at the local shop to pick up a new SD card.

Oh no! I did a stupid thing! I went to check the oil in my car, then I went to get some petrol, however I forgot to screw the oil cap back on! It fell out somewhere as i was driving along. So now I can’t drive my car as there will be oil spillage. π
On the off chance I phoned a car firm, just up the road from me, #CarZone and I spoke to a very nice gentleman who managed to phone someone who has an oil cap for the same model as my car. I can’t believe I did such a stupd thing. There are Knights in Shining Armour out there. There really are. π
I’m so stupid sometimes, but at least I thought to check the oil in my car. #StressfulDay
This week I celebrated my birthday. I am another year older. π
My thanks to everyone for the lovely gifts. I am still celebrating, right through to Sunday. A week long birthday celebration. Who can ask for anything more.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Happy birthday to me. π«
Q. How do you survive what’s going on in the world SmileyRose? It’s all doom and gloom right now.
A. I have my faith. I believe that having faith can lead to new hopes.
When we approach things with an honest heart and true purpose, amazing things can happen, even if the results arenβt always flawless. Good intentions may not promise immediate success or universal approval, but they carry a deep power. They nurture our spirit and pave the way for genuine, heartfelt connections with others. Being truthful about our intentions opens the door to growth and self-discovery, as it encourages us to reflect, learn, and adjust. Itβs in these moments of sincerity that we truly find ourselves and build relationships rooted in trust and authenticity.
