I received this very sweet gift today, from Well Wishers. It is a registered charity that supports patients and their families. They help to make a positive impact on those who use the hospital’s services and provide resources and equipment to NHS staff.

Today was a challenging day for me as I said farewell to a cherished family member.
The funeral for Marion de Souza took place today, December 17, 2024. She was born on November 7, 1929, and she passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. The service was held at the Peterborough Crematorium in Marholm, conducted by the Reverend Carolyn Baily, and was attended by close family and friends.
I would like to express my gratitude to R J Scholes Funeral Service and Stephanie’s Flowers. The floral arrangements were truly beautiful.
As Margaret (Marion’s cousin) shared some of Marion’s memories, during the service, I found it very moving, and I did my best to hold back the tears. It was deeply touching to hear how much she was loved.
Looking back at old photographs today brought forth such joyful memories of Marion, for us to treasure.
The wake was graciously hosted at Margaret’s home, where we fondly recalled some funny stories and happy memories of Marion.
Farewell, Marion. You were a beloved family member to us. We will always hold you dear to our hearts. Say hi to dad and Jesse for us.
