  • Dinner Time – That’s Amore

    Feb 17th, 2025

Today was the final day of my annual leave. I popped out to Bella Italia for some food. The staff working in there were all very nice.

I ate lasagne this evening. It was very nice.
  • Sad Cafe

She felt a sense of isolation and sadness. It seemed that there was no one available to support her at that moment. As she wiped her tears and glanced away from her coffee cup, she noticed a kind gentleman looking down at her. “Excuse me, is this seat taken?” he inquired. “Not at all,” she replied, feeling a bit surprised.

He was quite handsome, and she felt a glimmer of hope. They engaged in conversation for a couple of hours, and just as he checked his watch, he realized he needed to leave urgently. Before departing, he turned back and asked, “Could I take your phone number? I wouldn’t have another way to contact you.” He appeared slightly flustered from nerves. She smiled and wrote down her mobile telephone number on a piece of scrap paper.

Meeting new people for the first time can sometimes lead to the most wonderful experiences. Was this her knight in shining armour, finally coming to save her? Was this the start of a beautiful relationship, she wondered. Did i secretely wish this man into my life. 🙂

She awoke to the realization that it had all been a dream. It was disheartening for her to confront reality once more, leaving her with a sense of confusion.

She was missing her partner. 😩

  • Dining Out – Early Evening

    Feb 15th, 2025

This evening, I had the pleasure of dining at the George Hotel, where I captured some vibrant photographs. The staff ware exceptionally welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I have visited The George Hotel on numerous occasions, including a memorable celebration for a family member’s 90th birthday, which feels like a lifetime ago.

I arrived at the George Hotel fairly early. Therefore, there were not many people dining at that time. It started to get busy as I was leaving. I didn’t mind as I did not really want to stare at all of those “lovey dovey” couples. Lol, it is not my thing. 🙂  The meal was very nice though. 🙂

Ps Thank you for my lovely Pink Rose on this Valentine Day. It was very thoughtful.
