  • Having My Cake And Eating It!

    May 14th, 2024

I would just like to say thank you to my colleague Jane for the lovely slice of homemade coconut cake. It is very delicious and it went well with my cup of tea this evening. It was most welcomed.🙂

  • Q. Are you a Christian SmileyRose?

    May 14th, 2024

    A. I have a strong belief in God. I pray. I believe in the good, however, if there wasn’t any bad, there would be no evil.

I come from a Christian-only background. Both of my parents were strong Christians. I don’t think you have to go to church every Sunday, to believe in the Christian faith.

I accept that there are other religions, other than my own.

I believe in peace.  I believe that everyone should be more accepting of each other.

This is my website. All of the photographs displayed here are my own photographs only. I would not post a photograph on this site, that did not belong to me.

  • Q. Where do you display all of your photos SmileyRose?

    May 14th, 2024

    A. My photos are only displayed for public viewing, on this website.

All of my photographs are ©️ Copyright.

    Q. Have you ever sold any of your photographs SmileyRose?

    A. No! I have never received a single penny for any of my photographs, mainly because I have NEVER tried to sell any of them!

  • Q. Have you ever spent a night out on the town, partying and going to a nightclub with your sisters SmileyRose?

    May 14th, 2024

    A. Not ever! I have only ever been out with my sisters individually, mostly going out just to have a meal together, however, that was years ago. I have not seen either of my sisters for a long time.

I am the eldest of the three of us.

  • Q. If you had to name an actor to play your father, in a film, who would you choose SmileyRose?

    May 14th, 2024

    A. This is a tough question to answer as I like so many actors, but there is only one actor who I would particularly choose to be my father and who I think would make the perfect dad, that would be actor Steve Martin, without a doubt. I have loved all of his films, over the years, especially  Father of the Bride. I loved that film.  Diane Keaton is my favourite Motherly actress. 😀

I have loved all of Steve Martin’s films over the years. I love watching him in family comedy films, they are the best.

  • Hilarious! A Talking Cat. So Funny. :)

  • Ducati

    May 13th, 2024

I went to the Italian Festival, a couple of years ago and these two Ducati motorcycles caught my eye.

Ducati motorcycles are renowned for their performance, style, and racing heritage. Founded in Italy in 1926, Goodness! Are they really that old? 🤣 Ducati has produced iconic models like the Monster, Panigale, and Multistrada, known for their powerful engines and precise handling. With a focus on sporty designs and cutting-edge technology, Ducati appeals to enthusiasts worldwide.

  • Cupcakes

    May 13th, 2024

One of my work colleagues, Lezanne, celebrated one of her ‘Big’ birthdays today. The girls who work in her office decorated it beautifully, for the occasion

Thanks to Sue, for baking these amazing cupcakes. They looked delicious and they tasted delicious. 😋

    Yummy Cupcakes

Today brought back fond memories of me working in the offices at the Thorpewood  Police Station and when the girls that I worked with, decorated my office for one of my special events. It was so sweet of them, but also very funny. In fact, all of the people I worked with back then, were fun. We often socialised together on non-work days.

Lol I can remember the streamers falling from the ceiling and I had my typewriter sabotaged with lots of decorative bits and bobs all over it. Haha, and the big poster of a man with nice abs, and a huge cotton wool ball stuck to his belly button, as belly button fluff. I could not stop laughing for the rest of the afternoon.

I loved those days. We often went out for birthday treats in the afternoon, whenever it was someone’s birthday.

Of course, I would often be the one taking the photographs. I have no idea where some of them are. However, I can remember setting my timer on my camera and rushing back to get in on the photo.

On one occasion, I thought I’d forgotten to press the shutter button on the camera, and I rushed back, into position, only for all of us to be laughing hysterically waiting for the camera to click! There was a slight delayed reaction, but I managed to capture the most wonderful photograph of all of us laughing.

Those were such happy days. I wish we could all step back in time.😀

  • A Day In London At The Theatre

    May 13th, 2024

A few years ago, friend Anita and I went to see Bradley Cooper perform in The Elephant Man, at the Westend, London, for my Birthday. On the same day, we also saw Brad Pitt in the audience. He went to watch the show too, by coincidence, it was actually on my Birthday! We had a fabulous day.

Going to the theatre in London’s West End is an experience filled with anticipation and excitement. The vibrant atmosphere as you walk along the streets, adorned with dazzling marquees and bustling crowds, sets the stage for an unforgettable evening. Inside the historic theatres, the ornate décor and plush seating evoke a sense of grandeur and sophistication. As the lights dim and the curtain rises, you’re transported into a world of captivating performances, where talented actors bring stories to life amidst stunning sets and evocative music. Whether it’s a classic play, a blockbuster musical, or an innovative new production, the West End offers something for every theatre lover, making each visit a truly magical experience.

A picture of me, before the show we had a lovely pub meal. We arrived in London fairly early and we hit the shops. It was a fun day.
Lol I was this close to Bradley after the show, and I had ‘camera shake.’ I took this blurry photograph of him, it was just so funny. You wait a long time to just be able to get a snapshot of one of your favourite actors, and it turns out blurry. 😁
This car came to pick Bradley up and it sped away
